I had about 45 minutes between meetings one afternoon in San Antonio and walked to the Alamo to update my pictures of the chapel. Photos are not allowed inside. Quite a few of the tourists were amazed at how small the place felt. I spent about 20 minutes in front of the main doors talking about the “line in the sand” and my belief that it was a fabrication with a pile of well mannered Yankees. The official record predicates it by stating “legend has it”…I would suggest it should be “once upon a time”…
